Retail Therapy

Remember last month when I mentioned that I might spend what would normally be my car payment money on a little shopping?! Well, I was half joking - there were a few things I have been wanting (a new swim suit for Cancun, and some new work out pants) but I knew those things would never add up to my car payment amount. . . .

I went shopping Saturday, and my whole objective was to get some black board shorts and I've still been looking for work out pants. In the back of my mind I keep thinking that I need some new jeans, because my 2 favorite pairs are just too big for me to wear- but I hate shopping for pants! I get so frustrated that I can't find a good length for me and I think it's a fair judgement to say that my waist is small in comparision to my hips and booty - so again it's frustrating to find a good fit. After I had found board shorts and some new work out pants I decided to take a look at some new jeans - my sales person totally deserved whatever commission he got off me! He was so nice and kept bringing me pair after pair until I found some really cute jeans. I loved my Lucky Big Stars (which are one of the pairs that are too big) so I definately was looking for a new pair of those, but he brought me a pair that I had never heard of: Mek Denim. LOVE THEM! I'm all about what pockets look like and especially how my butt looks in them. Am I the only one? I'm not going to lie, they cost a pretty penny, but I couldn't pass them up with the way they felt and how I perceive that I look in them. I'll need opinions when I wear them. This is a picture of the Mek jean I got - my pockets are a little different but it's close.
