We saw some seriously gorgeous sunsets when we went on our nightly hunt for moose sighting.
This is in Herriman Park, where we did see a mama moose and a baby a few nights. Cool story- one night we saw them in a meadow and the mama kept looking up, but in the opposite direction from us/the road where there were cars, etc. We stayed and watched them for a few mins and then left to drive around the rest of the park, and on our way out we saw a little pack of wolves stalking this mama and calf (is that the right term?) There was definitely a bigger wolf and then a few smaller ones, so we assumed it was a mama wolf teaching her cubs how to hunt. We watched for a little while longer, and wondered what we would do if we saw the wolves attack.
We went into Yellowstone 2 days and on the second trip in we went into Canyon and decided to do the Uncle Tom's trail. It's something like 358 steps down a narrow metal staircase to a little platform to see the lower falls.
pardon my nastiness.
Herriman Park again, these swans were here every day. I was trying to get a picture where their necks looked intertwined.
