Vegas Recap

Thought I'd post of few pictures from our quick trip to Vegas this last weekend.
As we were driving down Jen tells me that Ben (her hubby) was a little nervous for what our room was going to be like. We were kind of cheap and stayed in The Vegas Club and Casino, which is on Fremont Street, which is north of the strip - it's where all the older hotels and casinos are, but it was only just over $50 for 2 queen beds on a Saturday night in Vegas - yes, it would have been easier to stay at Mandalay Bay, where the concert was - but we refused to pay $225+ to stay in one of the fancier hotels. So I had to include a photo of our room - it exceeded my expectations - it wasn't too smokey smelling, relatively clean, good size, the room stayed really dark (which was a bonus since we got to bed late) and it was really quiet. We did a little shopping before the conert - well I did some shopping - we got twinner flip flops! I love that Jen always makes me feel tan, when in actuality, I'm not that dark, she's just white.There were 2 opening acts, the first was a band called Halfway 2 Hazard (never heard of them) and then Jason Aldean. He's pretty good, I've seen him open once before.And then Tim!! We were sitting on the side of the arena on row 7! Not too bad and it was a bonus that we didn't have any crazy's sitting near us!
He opened with a brand new song which will be on an upcoming album and then went on to sing 2 other new songs throughout - cannot wait for the release.

This picture is of Tim with Brad and Brett Warren, from where we were sitting I couldn't get a good shot of all three together, so Tim kind of covers up one of the bros. They opened for Tim when he came a few years ago to Usana. They co-write a bunch of songs, most recently If You're Reading This (which is what they were singing here)
It was a great concert, like usual. My only complaints was that he did not sing Don't Take the Girl. That was one song that I wished he sang, oh - and he ended too soon. I could have stayed and watched him sing for much longer.
