Fall Treats

What is it about fall that brings all kinds of delicious treats? I see pictures of fun halloween/fall recipes, mainly treats, in magazines or on the internet and I just want to try them all. I think there is something about the fall that makes people (women) want to be more domestic, maybe because the weather gets cooler and more time is spent indoors. I don't know, but here a few of my favorites for the season:caramel apples
pumpkin chocolate cake - on my "to make" list
I LOVE zucchini bread (and brownies)

Sugar cookies - who doesn't love holiday sugar cookies

Grandma's pumpkin pie.
