A few weeks ago mom and I went to the Sandy Balloon Festival. I'd never been, actually I've never seen a hot air balloon up close.
(Nikki- I know this isn't anything like the ABQ balloon festival, so you don't need to point that out)

The sky was incredible that morning. This is looking east, just up our street.
It was fun to see the process of filling the balloons and someday, I'll go in one - I hope!
Side note: We've been playing softball (for YSA) and we took this picture at the all area tournament. We're nerds, I know. We all wore our league shirts and posed! We lost horribly, but got some good bruises out of the night!

I had no idea this went on...Rachelle and I were running and noticed them..they were super cool! We loved the pig one!
