15 Love Factoids

It's a relatively slow Friday here at the office so I was surfing the net and came upon this article: 25 fascinating facts about love - well some weren't that fascinating to me, so I thought I'd share what I thought were 15 fun facts about love:
- Men who kiss their wives in the morning, live 5 years longer than those who don't
- When it comes to the deed... 78% of women would decline an intimate rendezvous if they had not shaved their legs and/or underams
- 2/3 of people report that they fell in love with someone they've known for sometime vs. just met
- People telling their story of how they fell in love, believe the process was out of their control
- Falling in love can induce a calming effect on the body and mind and raises levels of nerve growth. Which helps restore the nervous system and improves the memory
- Love can also exert the same stress on your body as deep fear. You see the same physiological responses: pupil dialation, sweaty palms, and increased heart rate
- 11% of women have gone online and done research on a person they were dating or were about to meet vs. 7% of men (Guilty)
- Couples personalities converge over time to make partners more and more similar
- People newly in love produce decreased levels of the hormone serotonin, as low as levels seen in people with OCD. Perhaps thats why its so easy to feel obsessed when you're first smitten
